The Selection Game teaches the concept of Natural Selection. This game was developed by an evolutionary biologist and former Montessori student. The game is designed for lower or upper elementary classrooms and can be used in science, history, or geography studies. The student chooses a biome and plays the game based on that choice and whether the animal has helpful traits for that environment or not. The child will continue to play the game until one of the species goes extinct. Results can be graphed as the game is played. Directions included.
